This classic art wallpaper is a detail of The Scream of Nature (Der Schrei der Natur) painting by Edvard Munch. This is one of the two pastel version he painted in 1893 after he went for a walk at sunset and sensed, in his own words, “a scream passing through nature”. This painting was sold at Sotheby’s for $120 million to Norwegian businessman Petter Olsen.
